Our house receives 672 cable channels, 154 of them in hi-def. The DVR in the living room has 24 programs recorded and is over 88% full. The DVR in the bedroom has 16 programs and is 60% full. We have nearly 100 channels of pay-per-view, but apparently there’s nothing on TV.

We own 233 DVDs. Ten seasons of Friends, eight of ER, three seasons of Seinfeld and the box set of The Golden Girls that comes in Sophia's purse. We own all the Shrek movies, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, the first four Harry Potter films, the complete Bourne franchise, and the first five seasons of Family Guy except season 2 which we lent to a neighbor and never got back, but apparently there's nothing on TV.

With the Apple TV we can watch the 67 digital movies and 240 digital TV shows we own in iTunes. It also lets us stream over 20,000 movies through Netflix. We can watch more than 13 billion videos on YouTube, 6 billion pictures on Flickr, and even a slideshow of 6700 of our own pictures, all on our on our 52-Inch Sharp Aquos Smart TV, but apparently there's nothing on TV.
